A smile can be a good deed that brings happiness

A smile.

A smile is a beautiful symbol of friendliness
A smile is a very nice emblem of kindness
A smile is a sharp tool to abolish sadness.

It’s a remedy to those who suffer from stress,
It gives courage and helps those who are helpless
And it makes the pessimists less hopeless.
With a smile the patients forget about illness.

With just a smile to the scared you bring serenity,
To the mean you show your immense generosity.
With a smile you also obey God The Almighty
Who says that a smile is a kind of charity.

My Recent Good Deed

I know that we’re not supposed to brag about our good deeds. So, don’t brag, but please share! Your good heart might inspire someone.

My last good deed: While in a dressing room at a store, I saw money on the floor. At first I thought, “I’m not going to pick up a few cents from the floor!” But then I thought of a child or adult who would appreciate the money. I picked it up, but not to keep it. I put it on a chair so that someone who wanted it wouldn’t have to get the money off the floor.

Help Others and They will Help You Too

Once upon a time there was a young boy whose name was Sabir. He lived in a small village near a forest. One day he went to the forest to find some fruits. When Sabir climbed on the tree there was a little monkey. His leg was injured very badly. Sabir keep the monkey in his basket and came back to home. He was very much worried about the monkey. He put some medicine on the monkey’s leg. After one day the monkey felt better and started walking slowly. Sabir took the monkey back to the forest. Monkey thanked him so much.

After a long time when Sabir was going to the school which was in the city nearby he lost his purse full of money in the forest. He tried so hard to find it but was unable to find his purse with that money with which he had to buy books and necessary things he need for examination. He was so disappointed and sat under a tree. Suddenly he saw that same monkey was coming towards him and he has Sabir’s purse in his hand. Monkey gave the purse to Sabir and climbed back on the tree.

See friends, once Sabir took pity on the monkey and in return monkey also helped Sabir in time of need.

Help Others – The Old Lady

One day I was going to school, I saw an old lady on the road who was trying to cross the road, but due to heavy traffic, she was unable to cross the road. She was holding a heavy bag on her shoulders. She was a very feeble lady. When I saw the lady I decided to help her to cross the road.

I reached to her and ask her if I could hold her bag on my shoulder, then I hold the old lady’s hand and reached to the other side of the road with her. She offered me 5 Rs. as a reward, but I respectfully refused to take it. She prayed for me. After this when I reached school I was late. I was given punishment but when I told y teacher about the morning story she pat on my back and allow me to go to my class. I was very happy to help others.

Don’t Listen to Rumors!

Don’t Listen to Rumors! Once upon a time there was a village whose name was Abad. The village was famous due to the cruelty of the people. People say that the villagers always quarrel with each other and used to abuse. With such kind of rumors no body intend to go to the village. rumors
When my result of class V was announced, my father promised to bring the whole family to a picnic to country side. We all were very happy. When we were on the way suddenly our car became out of order due to some technical problem. It was dark when it happened and we had to spend the whole night. We were just near by the Abad village. We were worried as well as hungry. Well we entered the village but we did not find anything to eat. We decided to knock the door and a lady comes out and listening to our condition helped us and gives us bread with tea to eat. We thanked God who helped us in that dangerous night. We all thanked the old lady and realized that the rumors were not correct. If they were correct then no one would help us that night.

Next day we came back home. Now whoever says that villagers of Abad village are so dangerous we used to tell them our story and tried to convince them that all people in the village are not rude. Friends remember there is always good with bad it is not possible that no one is good any where. We should not believe in rumors.

What do you think of Good Deeds

When I think of a good deed I think of life as it should be with people caring, sharing, and foregoing selfishness for the benefit of all. Selfish living is counterproductive and unsustainable. A single good deed is a powerful thing. A good deed is fuel for life!

Never Done it Before – Brazil!

I had never done good deeds before. When I was 15 years old, my school started a project called “Aluno Cidad?o” or (Citizen Student). We had to help whit some charity actions. My group chose to visit an asylum. We stayed a day there playing the guitar and talking with people. When I arrived there, I felt a good feeling, a mixture of happiness and sadness. It was a big and important experience for me… Those people need more than actions to be happy. They need care and love – feelings that can move the world.
