Great Deed in Alexandria!
Dear Folks,
I heard about a great achievement and initiative that took place in Alexandria lately by the help of the students of Alexandria University. A group of students took the lead in initiating a project to provide a governmental hospital in Alex. with a full artificial kidney unit. Kidney diseases and problems is a common serious problem in Egypt. Many Egyptian suffer from this problem and they have to clean their blood every two or three days, otherwise they die. It is usually very expensive and not affordable for many people to go to these hospitals because of the limits of the facilities in hand in most of hospitals or because these equipment are usually very expensive.
Some business people sometimes volounteer to provide financial support to these people. The interesting point here is that, this time young students and youth were those who took the lead to “make their dream true” and they managed to provide this hospital with the equipment and support needed. To have a look at the pictures of this sucecss story, visit this URL: http://www.gam3aonline.com/htdocs/asp/temp/7elm.htm.
Thanks again to all those great positive students.
Ismail.
My Friend’s Good Deeds
Dear friends,
I am here not to talk about a personal good deed, rather to mention one of my friends and recognize him. He is Egyptian that I met in Saudi Arabia lately. This man is great and honest. I realized from the way he treats people and friends that he is so honest and he is trying to help everybody!
Sometimes he asks me or other friends if we need anything or if we need him to do anything for any of us, very touchy in deed. He never hesitates to help anybody in any way. I knew that he helped some people with money, advices, supoprt, and encouragment. He told me that he had many friends in his home city, Alexandria, where he used to help many people and to give them all a hand in their studies, work, and so on..
I felt very proud of this honest man and of his sinere relation and commitment to his fellow human beings and to his God.
Many thanks to him and to all of you,
Ismail Fayed.
Good Deeds Day..
I try to do many good deeds. I have done lots of them but it is difficult to tell all about them, as I do them not only to be praised. The God says: “Love each other and spread kindness around you.” I follow this advice. Kindness will save the world. On the second and third of October it was announced the day of good deeds. I also took part in this project. I presented some interesting books to my school library.
My friends and I went to the old peoples home. We sang some lovely songs and danced for them and enjoyed them. Then with the children of our yard gathered and cleaned around our yard. People must do good things not only on special days but every day.
I wish people to be kind and honest understanding and devoted to each other and live happy forever.

Voluntary Work in Schools
Dear iEARN family:
I am very happy to be with you in this good work, and i’d like to tell you a reall story in our school .
it is by Mr Mohamed Hossny :
please, read it and sent to us your reflection….
Voluntarily by science building and help in building a small scientist
My name is Mohamed Hosny , I am a science teacher in Abou Bakr El sedeek exp. School .
Voluntarily works idea was start in our recently year in school from i*EARN project .
From the beginning I found of this idea, because it suits with our religion and tempers .
So I thought how can I change the students behaviors in the class during science subject Teaching so I decided to form this group which is called together toward science.
I begin to plan and putting a time table to help the students to know the granted students and provide them with the bases and conceptions of science subject .
Through my work with these students, I make two meeting every week during the break and observe them and their behaviors.
Through my observation I found that they try to benefit from the environment with a new view to keep it clean and tidy.
On the other hand they try to connect between all conceptions which they studied through the group .
Also, they try to use it to improve their environment away from selfish and naughty behavior, using the modern technology and the internet in the service of science .
Of course they play but in new form and way and away from the negative behaviors.
I am continue in this voluntary work which started with students of primary five to be a good example for every teacher who wants to use his knowledge to build a new generation of granted students.
thanks a lot from all of us,
iEARN abou Bakr El Sedeek
