Thank u Ismail Fayed, I just want to clear that my
students are working with special students (blind, deaf & dumb).
So their work is based on only screensaver files. But they
will share and upload their day to day experiences and progress in the project

Hi everybody!

We are working for the special children (deaf, dumb & blind). I want to know more about there lives and how they feel. I want to interact with them. When I met them all I had a feeling in my heart that I had to do something for them. And if can be through making a screensaver and making them smile then I am happy to do so. Please pass on your remarks on my work and thoughts and enlighten my mind with your ideas and thoughts too. If you want to contribute any of your works or ideas you are most welcome.

Izzah Ijaz,

Beaconhouse Liberty Campus 8th grade

We are Zaira Saleem and Hina Amin from 8th grade are working on the project related to Special children (blind, deaf and dumb). We have just arrived from the Institute for Special children where we saw an angle
of their life. We came to know that they were just like normal people when we interviewed them. It was a very special moment for them when we showed our interest in them and after the wonderful journey we have
finally decided to do something for them…something that will please them and for that we are going to make a screensaver according to their choice. It would be a great honour for us if you suggest us something
or just give us a feedback.

Thank you,
Hina Amin

I am working in my computer lab as I am making a screensaver for special children. For this cause I also visited a Government Special Children School. It was a wonderful experience. After visiting that school
I came to know that how lucky I am to be gifted so much by Allah. Now I need to o something for the children desperately. Please tell me that what ingredients should I add to make the screensaver more interesting
and more attractive. Also tell me that if it is a good idea or if I could do anything better? If you have any screensaver for blind people please send me through attachments. Please write the feedback.

Our group is working on the project of making screensavers for special children.Today we visited
the collage ( Gung Mahal ) and we interviewed the special children in order to know about their interests. This
information will help us to make screen savers according to their liking. Visting the school and interviewing the students was a great and an unique experience for us as well as for them because they liked talking to ordinary people .Conversation with them was of great importance because they felt happy talking with us .This is a very
good project and we hope in progressing in our expectations.

Your comments and suggestions are always welcomed and they play a great part in improving the quality of our
work.

Mariam Naveed from V111 C E

The experience of visiting the school of special children was great and it revealed many facts to us about those special children, which we did not know previously. Even though they have some defects in themselves but they tried their best to mingle along with us. We also tried our best to make them feel comfortable. We interviewed them and we want to gift them a screensaver, which would be based on their general likings. They also enjoyed the interview and all of them were eager to participate. We hope that we would achieve our goal.

. Today, our day was made special by having a visit to the school for blind and deaf. The purpose to go there was to meet and interact with them so that it could help us in designing a screensaver of their choice for them. By interviewing them, we realized that they wanted to be treated as normal people and had same interests as us. We tried our best to ask them questions in a way which wouldn’t make them realize that they are special and as a result of this we got a positive feedback. We were inspired to see them struggling for a better life and will try to design the best possible screensaver for them.

Re: Good Deeds In Atlanta USA

This past weekend, two of my fellow colleagues and I volunteered at the North Fulton Charity in Alpharetta, Georgia. This charity organization’s mission is to “prevent homelessness in North Fulton by supporting families in their homes during short-term emergencies” (NFCC website). The organization has many volunteer opportunities including a food pantry, office assistant for clients, transportation, monetary aid, and the clothing closet. My colleagues and I chose to donate our time at the clothing closet, sorting through donated clothes, replenishing the thrift store racks with the sorted garments and assisting customers.

Upon our arrival, we noticed a diverse clientele in the store. The store provided clothing for men, women, and children. The clothes styles ranged from casual (jeans, t-shirts, etc.) to more formal, business attire. The store also contained some furniture and home furnishings, shoes and accessories, and a small area near the back of the stor e of children’s toys.

The team of workers directed us to the donation area for the sorting of items, explaining to us that nothing was wasted at this center. Clothes were either displayed for sale here or used as donations to other third world countries.

We were clearly amazed at how many of the donations were brand new items (still with store tags attached). The assumption is that because Alpharetta is a more affluent area, donations were actually purchased items specifically for the center.

The need for low cost clothing was evident with each rack of clothes my friends and I brought into the store for stocking. Oftentimes, many of the customers could not wait for us to put them on the shelf, instead sifting through the rack for the best items.

Helping the center was a very gratifying experience. We were able to not only provide a service to the center itself, but we were also able to interact with the customers and see one of their needs being met.

I would recommend the experience to everyone as it reminds us how lucky we are for the blessings in our own lives.

Re: A Mother’s Love

dear yamani & M.r Ismail,

As I can I remember the love and respect to my parents, but sometimes anybody in the world became nervouse of something or angry and maybe he hurts someone by his words but when he get calme he should excuse for what he do, but what the story show that the boy was very upset from his mother one eye and his reaction was by hurting here badly hurts just by his words but she never care for it !!

However, this woman really great, she takes on her boy words and never be upset from him , and at last here one eye which here son thought that it is a shitty sign she gave it to him , this boy (if this story tru ) should cry for all his life and ask god to forgive for him , and help people.

My other comment that any person in our world God created with any sign or something bad, we should help him and make him feel as if he is a normal person, not to ran away from him and be afraid from it’s something wrong – caz any one of us could be like him or someone very near to him be cause by that …

My greetings and love to your parents.. Be polite in your communication with others and help people,`

Re: GSU-Good Deeds In Atlanta (A work that has to be done)

I don’t see it as volunteer work anymore but work that has to be done. Most of the work that I do is done at the recreation center where my son partipates in various activities. My duties are plentiful ranging anywhere from coaching cheerleading to running the concession stand. I do whatever it is that I feel needs to be done. During the present season (basketball) I devote a minimum of ten hours a week. Throughout the rest of the year I fill in where I see fit. The experience you gain and the relationships that you build are priceless. I think that the main reason I do what I do is because of my love for children. I see it as the village helping to raise the children. I see the effect that not just I but the other volunteers as well have on the children, the time they devote, and the love they give and I feel proud to be apart of a family–which we see ourselves as–that cares so much for the CHILDREN. I feel that if more people would give just a little of their tim e,just maybe we could reach more of society’s troubled youth. In many instances that’s all they need, to know what someone cares. And care I do.

Re: My mother

Hi shery.. I know what you meant about that you love your mother too much,, and about buying her a present in the mther’s day..

I know what our mother did and still doing to us every day, and every1 loves his/her mother and wanted to buy a preset to her.

I wanna tell you a short story that happened to me,,, My birthday is on the same day of the mother’s day ( 21 st of march), and two years ago i wanted to prove my love to my mother by giving her a flower every morning begining from the first day of march till EVER – as I told her- but what happened is that only to the 21 st day i gaved her a flower, and after that I didn’t !!!

What I wanna tell you from this story is that our mothers don’t want from us any presents or flowers ,, but that was only a method to prove my love to such a great mom !!!

So,, keep it on, and a flower is enough to your mom,, and remember that the present isn’t wanted because of it’s value, but by what it brings from such meanings with it..

yours / yamani
