Keep your surrounding clean

I picked the useless bricks from the road to make my street clean during the Eid holidays. Everyone appreciated my good deed. We all should keep our surroundings clean. We should not through garbage on the road and in the grounds.Every one is responsible to keep their environment clean.

Helping the needy people

During Eid holidays, I met many people and helped the needy ones. Most of my servants were on holidays as they went to their village to celebrate Eid. Sweepers and other poor people came to my house and asked for the money. I decided to give them the money myself. So I went outside and gave them about two hundred rupees. They were very hungry so I gave them some food to eat. They were very happy, they thanked me and then left. I was happy for helping the needy and poor ones.

Helping poor people

Good deed, a word used by all, but most do not know what the real concept is. Good deed according to me is an act done for others benefits. Islam has also emphasized on the significance of good deed. Our Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad [May peace be upon Him] has been a good example of the perfect human being and has always helped the needy people. He performed the best deeds for the entire humanity in all aspects of his life. So we should follow him and practice this in our daily life.
I always try to help the needy and poor people by giving them money so they can fulfill the needs of their life, buy food and get shelter. If they are sick they should be able to buy medicines for themselves.

Taking care of sick people

I always take care of my family members. I help my parents and grandparents as well as my uncle and aunts. Last week my uncle was sick, he had high fever and flu. I took care of him. I gave him medicines on time and checked his blood pressure on and often. When he recovered he appreciated me and my good deed of taking care of him during his sickness.

Helping flood victims

One of the good deeds which I have done is that, I have collected some donations for the flood victims from my relatives, friends and neighbours. I collected money and other things for the flood victims of THATTA and BADIN.

First I collected the money than me and my brother went to the market to buy different things like clothes, biscuits, medicines, biscuit, pulses, rice, flour, teabags, milk pack and mineral water bottles. I did this because I want to help the flood victims as they were living a miserable life, they did not have any place to live and they also did not have any food to eat. After this deed I was glad that I have done something good for them.

Good deeds story: A Glass of Milk

A Glass of Milk

One day, a poor boy who was selling goods from door to door to pay his way through school, found he had only one thin dime left, and he was hungry.

He decided he would ask for a meal at the next house. However, he lost his nerve when a lovely young woman opened the door.

Instead of a meal he asked for a drink of water! She thought he looked hungry so brought him a large glass of milk. He drank it so slowly, and then asked, How much do I owe you?”

You don’t owe me anything,” she replied. “Mother has taught us never to accept pay for a kindness.”

He said, “Then I thank you from my heart.”

As Howard Kelly left that house, he not only felt stronger physically, but his faith in God and man was strong also. He had been ready to give up and quit.

Many years later that same young woman became critic ally ill. The local doctors were baffled. They finally sent her to the big city, where they called in specialists to study her rare disease.

Dr. Howard Kelly was called in for the consultation. When he heard the name of the town she came from, a strange light filled his eyes.

Immediately he rose and went down the hall of the hospital to her room.

Dressed in his doctor’s gown he went in to see her. He recognized her at once.

He went back to the consultation room determined to do his best to save her life. >From that day he gave special attention to her case.

After a long struggle, the battle was won.

Dr. Kelly requested the business office to pass the final bill to him for approval. He looked at it, and then wrote something on the edge and the bill was sent to her room. She feared to open it, for she was sure it would take the rest of her life to pay for it all. Finally she looked, and something caught her attention on the si de of the bill. She read these words$B!D(B

“Paid in full with one glass of milk”

(Signed) Dr. Howard Kelly.

Tears of joy flooded her eyes as her happy heart prayed: “Thank You,
God, that Your love has spread broad through human hearts and hands.”

There’s a saying which goes something like this: Bread cast on the waters comes back to you. The good deed you do today may benefit you or someone you love at the least expected time. If you never see the deed again at least you will have made the world a better place – And, after all, isn’t that what life is all about?

Being helpful and taking care

Last night my mother was not feeling well. She had high fever and severe headache. There was a party at my uncle’s(Bs house so all the other family members went over there. I stayed at home because I wanted to stay with my mum. Late night my mother called the servants but they did not come because they were fast asleep. I heard my mother voice so I ran to her room. She asked for some water. I gave her a glass of water and her medicine. I stayed in her room with her till the other family members were back from the party. I took care of my mum till she recovered. My mum always praised me and my good deeds.

Helping others

We should help the disabled people. Some of them are blind, deaf, and dumb and some cannot walk. They cannot do their work on their own so we should help them. Some people are injured and had fracture they also need our help. Last week we helped a person on the wheel chair. He was hungry and he asked for some money. We gave him some money. He was willing to cross the road so we pushed his wheel chair and took him across the road and then to his destiny.

Good Deeds

Good Deeds
We should always do good work in our life to make Allah happy. We should always think of Allah before taking any action. Make duah before everything eating-driving. Encourage your non-practicing friends to come to Islamic events. Read the Quran in Arabic and the meaning every day-we should take out some time from our busy schedule to listen to Allah.
We should keep our environment clean. Hold the door for people behind you, especially if the person behind is carrying packages, bags or kids. We should spend time with sick people. Help our friends if they are in any sort of trouble or problem. Help poor people, give them money and different things they need. If we buy something for ourselves we should buy it for our friend also. We should respect our elders and help children younger than us. These all are good deeds.
