57357 Cancer Hospital Invitation

to this noble endeavor. Hospital 57357 was built by you and a multitude of other friends in Egypt and around the world for you and for them, that is why, from the simple perspective of your ownership of this project, it is only natural that you would be concerned for its on-going success and the accomplishment of its vision, mission and goals.

If you happen to live abroad, maybe one way of actively interacting with us is to talk about the project to five of your closest friends and relatives who would be also interested in supporting us. You might prefer to send us directly their E-mails and phone or mobile numbers so that we establish a contact with them. You must have realized by now that we are badly in need of continuous support and increasing the number of donors if we want to secure an excellent comprehensive care and treatment , free of charge , for a growing number of children with cancer. We have estimated the yearly cost of running operations at the CCHE 57357 to be L.E.150 million. This amount is liable to increase steadily as we expect a steady increase in the number of sick children with cancer from all across Egypt and from the Arab countries.

Since the start of operations in July 7, 2007 at the hospital, and in the course of over one year we have received and treated over 25% of children with cancer in Egypt, totally free of charge. A good number of them have completed their treatment at the hospital and have resumed their normal lives. With the expected running of the hospital at full capacity and the opening of all remaining departments this year, it is estimated that the number of cases received and treated will rise to 50% of the expected total number of children with cancer in Egypt which is estimated at 8500 per year. Also, within our clear mission of serving as a magnet of care and exchanging knowledge with other healthcare institutions within both our immediate external Arab community and internationally, the hospital has received 70 cancer cases from our sister Arab countries namely Yemen, Sudan, Libya, Syria, Iraq, Kuwait, and Bahrain.

The administration was keen since the project's inception to always adopt international quality standards in all aspects, such as design, sanitation, infection control, training, organization, treatment protocols. It also firmly believes that all sick children regardless of their background are equal in receiving the best comprehensive quality care offered free of charge by the hospital. Our ultimate objective is to increase cure rates from the present 40-45% in Egypt to 80-85% as in the developed world. This is no more a dream but a hope in a brighter future for our sick children with cancer and their families which they deserve and for which we will always work hand in hand to make a reality.

والحقيقة ان مستشفى 57357 يحتاج دائما لزيادة قائمة شركاء الخير والعطاء حتى يستطيع الاستمرار فى أداء رسالته وتقديم أقصى درجات الرعاية الصحية والنفسية للاطفال مرضى السرطان مجانا.

فالمستشفى يحتاج سنويا لاكثر من مائة وخمسين مليون جنيه كنفقات تشغيل .. ومن المتوقع زيادة هذه التكلفة مع زيادة اعداد المرضى خلال السنوات القادمة ، ومنذ افتتاح هذا المستشفى فى 7-7-2007 تم استقبال وعلاج اكثر من 25% من الاطفال مرضى السرطان فى مصر مجانا تماما .. وهناك عدد كبير من الاطفال انهوا فترة العلاج بالكامل وعادوا الى حياتهم الطبيعية .

ومع الافتتاح الكامل لجميع أقسام المستشفى هذا العام من المتوقع استقبال وعلاج 50% من اجمالى الأطفال المرضى فى مصر

ويحرص المستشفى منذ تأسيسه على اتباع اقصى معايير الجودة العالمية سواء من حيث التصميم والنظافة والنظام واساليب مكافحة العدوى وتدريب العاملين ومواكبة كل ماهو جديد فى علاج هذا المرض

كما يحرص على مراعاة العدالة الكاملة فى تقديم اقصى درجات الرعاية الصحية والنفسية مجانا تماما لكل المرضى ، وهدفنا الاول الذى نسعى لتحقيقه هوانقاذ ابنائنا من مرض السرطان و رفع معدلات الشفاء بين الاطفال الى 80 % اسوة بالدول المتقدمة .. لان اولادنا يستحقوا ان نوفر لهم نفس مستوى الرعاية الصحية والنفسية .نرجو ان تلقى دعوتنا قبولكم .. وان تبادروا كعادتكم دائما بالتعاون والعطاء
