Nov. & Dec. Character Trait

Our Elementary School is big on Character Education. Our character Trait for November and December is Compassion, so we have been talking with students about what caring about others and what “good deed” we could do to help others.

This led to the food drive for the local food bank in November.
And now we have a toy drive for children in hospital. The students bring new toys that will be donated to sick children.

Hi Christine,
My school has a project about character education this year as well. We have focused on Trustworthiness and Respect so far. It is great that teachers and students are using the wame language to talk about good character and behaviours. What activities have been planned in your school to focus on good character?
