Teaching Good Deeds

This project is great. I am a pre-service teacher and I just want to comment that good deeds should be taught in school as well as in the home. I hope to incorporate this into my classroom on a daily basis. I want my students to want to help others. I want them to understand that you don't have to be an adult or be rich to do a good deed. There are so many ways that students can help others, and it is the job of teachers (not just parents) to open their eyes to this information. I am interested to hear from any teachers who have suggestions on working this into the curriculum or classroom in general.
